This morning I had my meeting with Denise about my clinical evaluation and all went well! Carrie and I were in gloomy moods and she looked at me this morning and said, “I think that it is an apples and bread morning.” So I got the pan out and the ingredients and started cooking! It was a delicious way to start the morning. Then the rest of the day was spent on my bed doing homework. I worked on my online course for literally all day and the assignments are almost completed! We took a break around noon to walk to Spar, a new grocery store we haven’t been to, to go grocery shopping! First of all, it was way closer tan Pick ‘n Pay and it was way nicer! Much better selection of food, they had everything on my list, and it was so much quieter and calmer! I didn’t feel like I was in a zoo running from aisle to aisle dodging shopping carts! I stocked up on all of the essentials and we made our walk back home. I was in a cleaning mood today so I organized and cleaned our refrigerator as well as organized the cupboards (I am my mother’s daughter). I made spaghetti casserole for lunch and had the leftovers for dinner with some fresh baked cheesy bread from the grocery store. We had quite a few breaks during the day, the topic of discussion was high school sports and our coaches we had when we were in high school. There were quite a few good stories and laughs! I packed my bag for our night away in Tsitsikamma tomorrow and now it’s off to bed!
