This morning we had yet again, a clinical with Smokey! She was in a better mood today and we were able to see more patients and interesting cases, but for the majority of the time we sat in the back of the room and just watched for six hours!

Two o’clock could not come soon enough and we were in the kombi back to Langerry. When we got back, a few of us walked to the daily market and they had the statue that I wanted! I was so excited and I got it for a good deal! I also bought a large tapestry with a two giraffes on it. It is large enough to make a twin quilt out of, so I will be busy sewing over Christmas break (Grandma, and Papa, I just volunteered you for helping me to tie the ties again…just like last time I made the quilt!). I made a poor attempt to work on homework before post conference for clinical. Then at 6:00, Carrie, Alex, Ashley, Brenna, Katherine, and I went to Gondwanas for two for one cocktails and appetizers! Carrie and I split our favorite strawberry colada and ordered nachos to share. We also decided that we should try a new drink so we chose a chocolate drink called, “Death by Chocolate” it was like a milkshake with alcohol…much better than a Dairy Queen ice cream treat! After we ate, we went to Captains for trivia. Only Kyle and Q were there, and they were very excited to see us to help out with the questions. We started the night with an interactive game of guessing heads or tails by indicating our choice by putting our hands on our heads, our “tails” or one of each to represent the two coins being flipped. Carrie won and she got us a pitcher of beer! It was a great way to start out the night! We rocked trivia (well at least the first half because that is when us girls left) and we were able to answer all of the questions but two! Whenever we knew it our faces would light up and we would get excited and Kyle would just pass the score card down to us to write the answers! At the halfway mark us girls decided to come back to pack our bags for our weekend away. It was a good day!
