I woke up this morning and I had a nice long email from Alexa! It was so nice hearing from her and she made my day by sending a picture that I made for her in our freshman year (only have knowing each other for a few months!) Thanks for the smile Lex! Class was pretty uneventful, we had our Public Health class and Edith from the NMMU Nursing Department came and spoke about alcohol abuse and violence. We were done with class at noon, so we decided to do a quick run for a few groceries. No worries though I didn’t have to buy milk and I didn’t have my big backpack for things to get squished. I stocked up and planned my meals for this week and next week and we were on our way! Of course it had to be windy and it was so difficult to walk the last block because that is where the wind is the worst! I ate some lunch and Katherine, Ashley, Brenna, Kasy, Laura and I went to the daily market to see if they had anything good there…no such luck! One guy said that he will get me a statue that I had been wanting and looking for and he would bring it on Thursday…I guess I’ll just have to go back to check it out then. I came back and worked on homework and my two class presentations for next week. I made good progress and before I knew it, it was time for dinner (I made pasta salad with celery, chicken, green peppers, and cheese with Italian dressing!). I worked on the homework a little longer and then it was time for be!
