This morning I woke up and was all ready to go to the market! I had money to spend and my list of gifts to buy. Katherine, Ashley, Carrie, and I bounced down the stairs and as soon as we stood in the doorway to outside and we all stopped like we ran into the glass windows…the market wasn’t out there! We went to talk to Bongiwe and she said it was too windy for the market, so Carrie and I went to the daily market to have a look. I bought a gift for Brooke as well as statues for myself of a person thinking and a carving of a giraffe! I was really excited about my purchases! I spent the afternoon studying for my mental health mid-term. But of course I got a little distracted by captioning pictures and checking emails. I talked to Dad on Skype and it was a surprise to have Mom call my flat to talk! We were able to talk for about a half hour and it was very nice! In the evening all of the girls came into my room and we played the Mental Health Jeopardy game that I made as a review for the test! Creating the game was my way of studying and following the study guide that Denise gave us. It was very successful and everyone had a great time! I worked on a video that I am making, listened to a little Harry Potter on my computer (I love that I can listen to the books when I am sitting around and working!). Then it was bedtime!
